Huayno is the joyful music and dance of the Andes, and this necklace shares its color. This chakana pendant necklace features the stepped Andean cross in 925 sterling silver. In addition, purple, red and orange spondylus, mother-of-pearl and chrysocolla fill the design with color.
Ilaria is a Peruvian jewelry house founded in 1992 by Italian-born designer Ilaria Ciabatti. Today, more than 100 skilled artisans work with the brand, drawing inspiration from pre-Inca traditions. Together, they blend contemporary design with Peru’s long silversmithing heritage. In addition, they shape and finish every piece by hand.
Wear it over a plain sweater or a simple blouse. Also, its colors pair easily with denim and neutrals. For example, try it with a white shirt for a lively touch. Therefore, it is a meaningful gift for lovers of Andean culture.
