In Mapuche tradition, Antü is honored as a source of light and life, and the sun is one of the most important figures in the Mapuche view of the cosmos. These earrings turn it into a modern, wearable design.
They are made by Ulcha Küyen, an artisan enterprise from Carahue, in Chile’s Araucanía region, founded by Mapuche goldsmith Marcelina Huentecura. The workshop handcrafts every piece in high-grade silver with ancestral techniques, celebrating Mapuche cosmology in each design. Here, 925 sterling silver gives the sun its bright, clean shine.
