In Mapuche culture, the Machi is a spiritual guide, and the kultxüg drum is one of the most important ceremonial objects. Ulcha Küyen, the artisanal workshop founded by Mapuche goldsmith Marcelina Huentecura in Carahue, Araucanía, handcrafts every piece in 925 sterling silver using ancestral techniques such as chiseling and embossing.
