Found in the warm waters of the Pacific, the spiny oyster shell known as Spondylus was so valued in ancient Peru that it was traded across the Andes. Ilaria, whose more than 100 artisans take inspiration from pre-Inca traditions, shapes and sets it by hand in Peru, pairing its natural red with bright sterling silver.
