The Wari earrings draw on one of the Andes’ most meaningful symbols. These chakana spondylus earrings follow the stepped Andean cross, with carved red spondylus shell in each piece. As a result, they feel bold, warm and full of heritage.
Ilaria is a Peruvian jewelry house founded in 1992 by Italian-born designer Ilaria Ciabatti. Today, more than 100 skilled artisans work with the brand. Together, they blend contemporary design with Peru’s long silversmithing heritage, drawing inspiration from pre-Inca traditions. In addition, they shape and finish every piece by hand.
Let them stand out with hair pulled back. Also, they look striking with black, white or earthy tones. For example, pair them with a linen dress for summer. Then, add a silver cuff for extra impact. Finally, they make a meaningful gift for anyone who loves Peru.
Materials: 925 sterling silver and red spondylus shell. Designer: Ilaria. Total length: approx. 3.2 cm (1.26″). Sold as a pair.
