The Piruw necklace is a celebration of Andean color and craft. This spondylus bird necklace combines beads of sodalite, chrysocolla and orange, red and purple spondylus. In addition, a bird design in sodalite, orange spondylus and mother-of-pearl sits at its heart, with a tab-shaped red spondylus pendant.
Ilaria is a Peruvian jewelry house founded in 1992 by Italian-born designer Ilaria Ciabatti. Today, more than 100 skilled artisans work with the brand. Together, they blend contemporary design with Peru’s long silversmithing heritage and draw inspiration from pre-Inca traditions. In addition, they shape and finish every piece by hand.
Let it be the star of your outfit. For example, wear it with a black dress or a white shirt. Also, neutral colors make the blues and reds stand out. Then, keep earrings small and simple. Because it carries so much Peruvian character, it is a memorable gift. Finally, it is a true collector’s piece for lovers of ethnic jewelry.

Avoid water, perfume and lotions, and store the necklace flat in a soft pouch to protect the inlay.
