The Kuyen Sand Beige Hooded Loom-Woven Ruana with Fringe keeps the spirit of traditional Chilean loom weaving in a lighter, more versatile ruana, finished in a warm sand-beige (vicuña) tone with a built-in hood and decorative fringe along the edges. This hooded ruana is made by Unik, a family textile workshop from La Ligua, Chile’s historic knitting town.
It is handwoven on a traditional loom using a blend of HB and Londres yarns, which gives it softness, warmth and strength while keeping the fabric thinner and lighter than our heavier huaso ponchos. The result is a fluid, comfortable drape that follows your movement.
