Our wool stoles are handwoven on traditional looms by Kuifi Kimün, a women-led collective of Mapuche weavers in south-central Chile whose name means “ancestral wisdom” in Mapudungun. Each stole is woven from 100% natural sheep wool, keeping alive a textile tradition passed down through generations.
Naturally warm: sheep wool insulates beautifully while letting your skin breathe
Handwoven: every stole is made by hand on a loom, so each piece has its own character
Generous size: about 80″ long and 24″ wide, wide enough to wear as a wrap or shawl
Soft, versatile colors: white, winter white, pink, burnt orange, light brown and brown
Wear a wool stole looped as a scarf on crisp mornings, draped over your shoulders in the evening, or wrapped around you on a long flight. Each purchase supports Mapuche women artisans and their craft.
