This lilac copihue ruana is made by Unik, a family textile workshop from La Ligua, Chile’s historic knitting town.
It is knitted with two strands on a knitting machine using soft HB yarn blended with Londres yarn, which gives it a light, comfortable warmth and good resilience. The flexible knit drapes naturally from the shoulders and moves with you, so it is easy to wear from morning to evening.
The copihue, a red bell-shaped flower from the forests of southern Chile, is the country’s national flower and a beloved symbol of Chilean identity. Here it adorns a light ruana that is simple to combine with jeans, dresses or a winter coat.
