This Mapuche greca bracelet is a link bracelet with six Kayu Greca pendants, handcrafted in 925 sterling silver by the expert goldsmith who founded Ulcha Küyen. Its design combines elegance and simplicity, inspired by the ancestral symbols of the Mapuche culture. The pendants catch the light with every gesture, so it brings quiet movement to a linen dress, a knit sweater or a festive evening look.
The greca, a stepped geometric pattern, appears throughout the textiles and silverwork of the Andes and southern Chile. This bracelet comes from the Carahue workshop of Mapuche goldsmith Marcelina Huentecura, founder of Ulcha Küyen, who shapes each pendant using the chiseling and embossing techniques passed down through generations of Mapuche silversmiths.
Keep it in a soft pouch between wears, take it off before swimming or putting on perfume, and polish the silver gently with a soft cloth.
